In partnership with The Rick Herrema Foundation, Girl Scouts of Central Texas, Fort Hood Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR), Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES), and other local organizations, we’re creating a free, family-friendly event for Fort Hood service members and their loved ones.
This community event aims to foster resilience, connection, and well-being through a day filled with fun activities, entertainment, and great food. We also welcome the Rick Herrema Foundation as they settle in the Central Texas area.
Expected attendance: 800–1,000 people. The first 500 registered guests will enjoy complimentary food truck options, and drinking water stations will be available throughout the venue. Volunteers MUST obtain a base pass from the Fort Hood Visitors Center for entry on event day.
